Ski Mount Bachelor

Oregon has several good resorts we can book for clients – Mt Bachelor, Mt Hood & Timberline. The latter two are good for a long weekend if you happen to be in Oregon, but Mt Bachelor is the real star. It’s a volcano with a 3000+ acre ski area that is larger than most Colorado, Utah or Canadian resorts, and is one of the biggest and best all round ski areas in America, with great skiing for all abilities. It’s also only 25 miles from Bend airport, a short hop from San Francisco. Call or email us for accommodation details and prices

Eastern Ski Resorts

We can arrange trips to all the main resorts in Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Vermont & Eastern Canada. Frankly, we don’t advise flying 3000 miles just to ski on the east coast because it’s some way inferior to skiing in the West both in terms of the quality of the ski areas and the snow, but a ski & sightsee trip taking in places such as Boston, Cape Cod, New York, Quebec City, Montreal or Niagara Falls can be a great trip. Purely in terms of the skiing, we recommend Mont St Anne as having the best single ski area in the East and a day tip from there to Le Massif to ski amidst some of the greatest views in world skiing is a must, as is a day off to visit  beautiful World Heritage site Quebec City; or why not ski a different little resort each day for a week in New Hampshire, taking in Attitash, Bretton Woods, Cannon, Loon, Waterville & Wildcat, and finish with a couple of days in Boston, one of the most interesting cities in America.

Ski Minnesota

The only resort of note in the Mid-West/Great Lakes region is Lutsen, close to the shores of Lake Superior and the city of Duluth, and only 3 hours from Minneapolis. The lake views are amazing and the skiing is good for a few days. If you’re ever in the region on business or to see relatives or friends, we can arrange something for you at the Bluefin Bay, a superb property on the lake close to Lutsen. Minneapolis is a surprisingly nice city, well worth a visit, and we have good rates there too.

Ski Europe

We provide the same tailor made service to Europe as we do to North America. We can book a standard package to one of the well known resorts such as Val d’Isere if you wish, but our real strength is advising on the best off-the-beaten-track places, particularly in France. You would be surprised how many great resorts are out there that barely feature in the package operator brochures. With low-cost airlines, car-hire & transfer rates and great apartment and hotel options, we can put together a much better value, less crowded, more independent and generally more civilised trip than a standard package. We particularly come into our own during the school holidays, when the well known resorts are so overcrowded and so overpriced.

We have rates at a number of resorts in France & Switzerland which are handily close to Geneva Airport. We can do Chamonix, but pretty much every other company does that. We have rates at a range of much less crowded, more convenient, less commercialised resorts with skiing that appeals to a much wider range of ski abilities.
